Sweet Things of Fall

by Rosalyn Clark on 10/14/15

Fall is in the air with its beautiful array of colors.  Brown, orange, and golden brown denoting change in nature to prepare for winter.  But let's enjoy this timely change of seasons and reflect on the natural course of nature,  and how it so deeply intertwines with our lives.  Yes, some grey days, which is the winter season, maybe evident to you right now, but reflect on what is happening right now in this season.  The sweet things of fall:  beautiful colors, the brisk fresh air especially here in
New Orleans--low humidity, and delicious foods with pumpkins, sweet potatoes, and of course not to mention the taste of New Orleans, chock-full of pecans, rich and creamy, Rosalyn's Pralines.  Just as nature's changes are reflected in the seasons, we can change for the better by reflecting on what does not change:  His grace, glory, and goodness given to us without our attainment or validation for it.  It was, is, and will always be given to us.  Every day is a new day.  Amen!  Enjoy the life that has been so graciously given to you.

Resurrection Sunday!

by Rosalyn Clark on 04/04/15

We celebrate Resurrection Sunday this weekend.  The "Finished Work" of the Cross of Jesus Christ.  Over two-thousand years ago, Jesus nailed every kind of suffering and sickness to the Cross for you and me.  Now that "Finished Work" is available still today for every person.  Celebrate life, Jesus Christ.  He did it for you and me.  He's Alive!  Hallelujah!  What a sweet "Ingredient" for life.  Enjoy your day.

Swamp Stomp Festival

by Rosalyn Clark on 03/25/15

This past weekend was a sweet ingredient of cajun music, dancing, good food-including Rosalyn's Pralines, tasty snowballs, caramel popcorn made onsite, and great people with their artistry of jewelry, bows, gourmet fixings, children's clothing and cajun woodwork.  A great annual festival headed up by Ms. Brenda Haskins and staff is one to put on your calendar and experience the energy of cajun dancing and the people.  Splendor of sweetness!

Keep It Moving!

by Rosalyn Clark on 03/10/15

What is your "It"?  Whatever it is, the sweet thought ingredient for today is to "keep it moving".   We have the ability to create and design desired results.  Keep it moving.

Happy Monday

by Rosalyn Clark on 03/09/15

What's your sweet thought ingredient for today?  Well, on Thursday of last week, I just had the urge to bake a bundt cake from scratch.  Can I tell you that it was delicious.  There is no more to be eaten.  As I was putting the ingredients together, I thought to myself, these ingredients a part from each other won't give a distinctive taste that would identify the finished product called "cake"; but together, each one combined at a certain time is the pattern for desired results.  Have a great day!
